Is that a good thing or would you take it as an insult?
I saw a young intern on Ace of Cakes (a show on Food Network) say this to Duff, the owner.
FD - I think it was meant in a sarcastic way when the intern told Duff that…. almost like he wanted to say something else but stuck in antioxidants because that would be the proper benefit to drinking tea. Yeah, I posted an off question I think.

I think that's the only reason people drink it, it tastes like cupboard.

You can't be full of antioxidants. Antioxidants help to cleanse the body and drinking a lot of green tea can be extrememly beneficial. Antioxidants are important in maintaining good health - you can't be full of them! I wouldn't take it as an insult - I would consider it a good thing. I have actually been drinking a lot of green tea with different antioxidant factors - they sell specific brands of green tea that target different health areas. There is absolutely nothing bad about taking antioxidants! The guy on the food show you were watching was a ding-dong - probably out there trying to promote his high calorie fattening foods!
