I am a green tea enthusiast and have been reading many matcha powder (green tea powder) recipes. I have never used it in baking, so I would like to know how it tastes in cupcakes, ice creams, cakes, etc? For example, does it have a bittersweet taste when added to cupcakes?
I would also like to know if anyone has tried baking with matcha powder and how it turned out? What brand did you use?

Some people do not like using green tea when baking, because it can add a bitter taste. When used in moderation, however, matcha powder adds a lovely sweet flavor in its subtleness. Green tea is a great addition to any dessert, whether it is to enhance a flavor or to become the star of the dessert. It's all in the hands of the baker. Happy baking! ; )
