trouble breathing - acid- lack of oxygen because of green tea?

May 10th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I have been suffocating lately because I began a lot of eating green tea recently, which is the only thing that could be causing this. I heard you could get the health benefits that way. I laid down to sleep earlier and kept waking up because I was not breathing. I once had this problem years ago after taking guggle and recall two things that used to help me peppermint tea and this product, something like oxygen o2?
If I recall correctly what I am experiencing is the inability to use the oxygen which I am breathing. Can anyone help? I know things like vinegar make it worse. It is some type of upkeep or inkeep problem, any help would be nice.

I think you may have gastric reflux - it can cause trouble with your breathing. The acid rises up when you are asleep and goes into your lungs and causes you to get asthma.

The condition is called GORD or GERD which stands for Gastro Oesophageal Reflux Disease. Very common.

You'll need to sleep with 3 pillows so that you don't aspirate too much acid into your airway and choke in your sleep.

Please see your own doctor for proper diagnosis.
