Just wondering if anyone has tried using Green Tea and been successful when conceiving. I have been drinking a cup or 2 a day since my last period. I am past ovulation now and still drinking it. I know that there has been some mixed ideas about it and folic acid, so I have been taking Folic Acid Supplements as well.
Do you know anyone that has tried this and succeeded? (or perhaps yourself) I have read some stories about how some women have used green tea when ttc and conceived that month.
Thanks in advance!

Even with the folic acid supplements, the problem with Green Tea is that is prevents your body from ABSORBING the folic acid, which would be a problem, especially since folic acid is essential to a healthy neural tube formation, which happens before its possible to know you are pregnant.
It is recommended by my doctor not to drink it while pregnant, so I wouldn't use it to try to conceive either.
Just my 2 cents

I was told not to drink green tea while pregnant but have no idea if it helps to conceive. I guess people will try anything and hope for the best. Folic acid doesn’t help you conceive but is very good for the baby so keep taking that for sure.
