Search for similar completed items on ebay. You don't have to buy anything, but will get an idea of the going rate.

I am not sure, but I know it would help if you had the name of your tea set to enter into a search. It would be best to locate a local appraiser. The web appraisers can only go by what you give them. You would be wasting your money on them.
