I need about 20 tea pots and 100 cups and saucers. Any idea on how to pull this off without breaking the bank?
Forgot to add, I am a thrift store junkey…. Big time.
But for this occasion (my 50's themed wedding) it will look better all matching. I wanted to do the mix and match deal but do to other decor ideas I need the matching pieces. But thanks for all these great answers!

Antique stores!
It would certainly be a challenge to find these all mathching, but if you are into the eclectic thing, try your local antique stores. Some patterns are very affordable and fun!

flea market but it may not be matching.
Ebay
For that quantity, you may need to go to a department store, Kmart or walmart, etc.

There are several places to look, though I can't make any promises about breaking the bank:
1) Thrift stores
2) E-Bay and Overstock.com
3) Estate sales.
Good luck!

TJ Max, Tuesday Mornings, or Marshall's…you might even be able to negotiate a deal for that amount. If not there I would send a posse of friends out to garage sales.

Check out your local restaurant supply companies. They often sell more than just your basic white china, though you may have to ask to see their catalogs.
