I usually drink Sencha green tea, I used loose leaves, and the first time I made myself a cup of tea it was a green color, but now everytime I make one I somehow make it turn slightly orange/darker. What mistakes am I making?

I've had this problem before, and it was because I used a lower quality sencha. I don't know why exactly, but it doesn't make the deep green colored tea, and also doesn't taste as good. Now I buy online from hibiki-an, and it is always green.
To make one cup:
Boil water
Pour water first into one cup, then into the tea leaves (water is the correct temperature on the second pour)
Use 2 teaspoons of tea for one cup
Let the tea brew for only 1 minute and 15 seconds
Hope this helps!

You aren't making any mistakes…as a matter of fact I just made a cup of organic sencha superior that I picked up from Whole Foods and it's top quality. I always get a lighter/orangish color from sencha.
Dragonwell always gives me a darker greener look but every tea will have it's own distinct color….don't worry and enjoy your delicious tea!
