Green tea doesn't have any calories at all. It only has a lot of calories if it's sweetened, which you wouldn't want if you're trying to lose weight. They also sell green tea extract at places like Walmart if you don't like the regular tea.

I know there was a tiny clinical study with a woefully low number of participants who claimed to have lost weight using green tea. This study hasn't been replicated on a large scale so it is just another unfounded claim.

Real green tea has zero calories. If you're looking at green tea with lots of calories, you've probably got one of those lipton teas in a bottle, which could barely be considered real tea.
Make your tea with hot water and tea bags, and dont add any sugar.

Losing weight is simple not to say that it is necessarily easy.
I have lost 40 lbs too and is now unbelivably slim and healthy with a nutritional meal replacement plan. I believe Proper food is the medicine of all diseases and food can prevent any diseases too . With this plan that food is made available easily and so losing weight is made very easy and 200 % healthy too.It is not very expensive too. and we can keep it off for years to come too while enjoying foods we love. Green tea (if you brew it yourself) does not have many calories (if you drink it w/o sugar, that is). And it has been shown that it boosts your metabolism a little bit (70 more calories burned per day). So that can help, but it's not going to make you lose weight in any considerable amount.
Also, it's been shown the blackberry's have a similar effect, as well as no fat yogurt. Still, these aren't going to help you "lose weight fast." There is really no healthy way to "lose weight fast," just eat healthy (lots of fruits and veggies, which are things people often miss in their diet) and exercise.

I drank lipton green tea for months and don't believe it had any impact. It had no calories. Diet drinks are under great scrutiny following a study that showed rats drinking diet soda and drinks actually gained weight. I think your best option is to lots of water. Another option is to snack on high protein drinks as the protein will help keep your appetite suppressed. good luck

ahh no it wont make you loose weight
the only way it could help is by instead of snacking have some tea as it has less calories.
things that burn calories though are things like celery as it is so hard to digest, it takes more calories to burn it off than what is in it
so it actually containes -2 calories
