Not sure. But henna (authentic in powder form) with coffee & egg yolk left on for a short time say 15-20 minutes will. Have done this & my Mum does it all the time!

Nooo, that will just temporarily make it a darker shade of brown. You could use cherry Kool-aid instead, no joke. It will give your hair a red tint (without damaging it at all) but it fades within 2 weeks so you'd have to keep using it to make the color stay.
