oolong tea is the most commonly used tea - it is in all the major brands. it has no known special dietary goodness - however, if you drink it instead of drinking sugared drinks or sodas, you'll cut down your calorie intake a lot, and probably lose weight. Don't credit the tea - credit your lack of calorie intake.
